Senior Software Engineer

Guided by our mission – Nobody waits for care – DexCare addresses tech gaps by aligning supply and demand to modernize healthcare infrastructures for an inclusive ecosystem. ### About the Role DexCare is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will expand the efforts around the DexCare platform. If you are an experienced software engineer excited about getting in on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup with a well-established team and multiple large and respected clients, this might be the opportunity for you! As an engineer in this role, you will be a key part of building out solutions from the ground up. You will contribute to the full breadth of the codebase – working both on responsive SPA web applications and backend services. Every engineer is expected to work across the full stack and suite of offerings and should be prepared to interact daily with other engineers, as well as product managers, product designers, and solution architects. ### What You’ll Do: - Be a team player and successfully get buy-in from your team as well as champion the team’s strategy. - Build highly testable code with strong contracts. - Configure and maintain a SaaS solution built on AWS and Kubernetes (including Helm) with Docker containers. - Design and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases, including DB schema changes and migrations. - Participate in on-call rotation. ### What You'll Bring: - 5 years acting as a team lead with demonstrable experience driving architectural solutions and mentoring peers. - 7 years of relevant on-the-job experience shipping enterprise software using SOA, delivering solutions end to end. - 5 years building out services using TypeScript with Node.js. - 7 years of experience with a strongly typed, object-oriented language. - 3 years of experience building platforms utilizing message queues and pub/sub models. - 7 years of experience building medium to large responsive web applications.
