### Your Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will report to the VP of Engineering and oversee the configuration, provisioning, and management of large cloud-hosted systems and microservices. Your responsibilities will include scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and recovery.
### Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and expand our infrastructure defined in code (IaC)
- Oversee systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring
- Define the direction of our infrastructure architecture to help Alpaca scale
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build fault-tolerant and resilient microservices
- Improve the performance and durability of our CI/CD pipelines
- Build automated tooling for provisioning on-demand Kubernetes namespaces
- Be on-call to assist with timely engineering projects
### Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
- Significant experience with Kubernetes at scale
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and services
