With a proven track record of facilitating engineering teams to increase productivity and quality, you are excited about helping design and develop our data pipelines and leading our Solana data-related projects and strategies. ### What You’ll Do As our Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for: - **Owning Data Sourcing Pipelines**: Architecting our data warehousing, ingestion, and sourcing strategy, working with multiple SDKs to aggregate data from various sources into Blockwork's data warehouse. - **Designing and Implementing ETL Solutions**: Implementing our overall ETL approach, including accessing and setting up blockchain nodes, sourcing data from third parties, and modeling our internal schemas across PostgreSQL databases. - **Growing Shared Knowledge**: Providing technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to the team in implementing established architectures and designs. - **Driving Operational Efficiency**: Constantly looking for opportunities to improve data workflows and automate routine tasks. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Working with teams across Blockworks, including Research, Product, and Engineering, to lead initiatives and move collaborations forward. ### What You’ve Done Before - Significant knowledge of the crypto industry; being crypto native is essential. - At least 4 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, and data operations.
