### Role Overview
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong technical judgment, capable of designing event-driven microservices that can handle millions of requests seamlessly. You will be responsible for the service layer and data pipelines, providing critical telemetry for analytics.
### Responsibilities
- Full technical ownership: design, decide, build, operate, and take responsibility for critical platform domains.
### Requirements
- 5+ years in Backend Development (seniority based on autonomy and proactivity).
- 3+ years of solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- 3+ years operating in AWS Serverless environments (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS).
- 2+ years of basic Data Engineering experience and relational database modeling (PostgreSQL).
### Desirable
- 1+ year of experience with TimescaleDB or time-series databases.
- Previous experience in IoT or industrial telemetry projects.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK).
### Soft Skills
- Extreme Ownership: Ability to take a domain and carry resolution end-to-end.
- Communication with Judgment: Ability to challenge and collaborate with technical stakeholders (Data Teams).
- Proactivity: Does not wait for instructions; identifies bottlenecks and proposes solutions.
