Staff Backend Engineer, AST: Composition Analysis

We are looking for a **Staff Engineer** on our Software Composition Analysis team to drive the implementation of security features that help customers manage risks in their software supply chain. ### Responsibilities - Implement complex features in dependency scanning and container scanning. - Solve novel technical problems in SCA, establishing reusable patterns that improve engineering effectiveness. - Guide architectural and implementation decisions in collaboration with engineering managers and peer engineers. ### Future Features You May Work On - Dependency scanning for unmanaged C/C++. - Dependency scanning for Yocto environments. - Vulnerability detection using CPE-based matching against package metadata. ### Why GitLab?
