This hands-on role involves both technical execution and leadership, reporting to the Senior Director of Data Engineering. You will be deeply involved in the design, implementation, and review of data pipelines and data models while leading and developing a team of data engineers. ### Key Responsibilities - **Data Pipelines and ETL**: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-availability data pipelines. Own the end-to-end ETL and ELT implementation in Snowflake, focusing on performance tuning and cost optimization. - **Data Modeling**: Develop and maintain robust data models that reflect business processes. Collaborate with Analytics and Business stakeholders to translate business logic into reliable data models. - **Team Leadership**: Balance technical execution with people leadership, ensuring the data team shares a common understanding of data usage and integrity. ### Qualifications - Strong hands-on expertise in data engineering, particularly with Snowflake and modern data stack tooling (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Spark). - Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex data projects. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
