Job Description
ECS is seeking a **Human Capital Management (HCM) Platform Automation Developer** to work remotely. This role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of automated solutions for the agency’s HCM Platform implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in HCM Platforms and automation frameworks, understanding the unique security, compliance, and data integrity requirements of the federal environment.
### Key Responsibilities
- **Automation Development**: Design, build, and maintain HCM Platform automation scripts and workflows to streamline HR, Payroll, or financial processes. Develop integrations using EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders), and REST/SOAP APIs. Automate testing activities using tools like Selenium.
- **Testing & Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with teams to define automated test scenarios, execute and optimize automated test suites, and track defects.
- **Integration & Data Management**: Support automated data loads and transformations, ensuring data consistency and compliance with federal data governance policies.
- **Collaboration & Documentation**: Work closely with analysts and developers to translate functional needs into technical solutions and maintain technical documentation for automation scripts.
### Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with ERP or cloud-based HCM systems, including at least 2 years in Workday technical development.
- Proficiency with HCM Platforms and experience with test automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java).
- Knowledge of federal IT standards, including FISMA and FedRAMP compliance.
### Salary Range
$140,000 - $180,000
