### Job Overview
Everforth ECS is seeking a **Senior Software Tester/QA Analyst** to work remotely. This role supports a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
### Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive testing activities across multiple DHS modernization projects.
- Design tests and build test data.
- Plan and coordinate test scenarios.
- Perform non-functional requirements testing like usability, performance, and scalability.
- Establish and document test procedures.
- Create project test documents such as Requirements Traceability Matrix, Test Management Plans, and Test Summary Reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Utilize Jira/Confluence to manage testing activities, document results, and track defects.
- Support release validation and production verification activities.
- Coordinate defect management activities including documentation, prioritization, retesting, and validation of fixes.
- Identify testing gaps, risks, and quality concerns early in the development lifecycle and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Promote QA best practices and contribute to establishing a culture of quality across the program.
### Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of experience as a tester.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience working in an Agile project environment (Kanban/Scrum).
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools.
