MEMX is searching for a skilled Linux Platform Engineer who is passionate about pursuing operational excellence through engineering, monitoring, and automation. This position requires a hands-on approach to architecture and support, with responsibilities including designing and developing solutions. You will collaborate with teams to gather insights and solicit feedback on tackling current challenges, emphasizing standardization and scalable solutions. This role will support the firm's enterprise and production systems on global initiatives.
### Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure supporting MEMX-operated platforms.
- Monitor scalable solutions running infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Help debug the build system and continuously improve build performance through metrics and analysis.
- Monitor systems capacity and performance to allow for scaling of high performance as necessary, performing root cause analysis for incidents.
- Work with the information security team to mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities in the environment.
- Perform other duties as required and any other duties as assigned.
**Shift:** This role will cover the US overnight shift of 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM ET. 1-2 seats available targeting non-US candidates.
