Web Software Developer

ECS is seeking a **Web Software Developer** to work remotely. This position is contingent upon additional funding. We are looking for a developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud-native web applications on **AWS**. This role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full-stack web development. ### Responsibilities: - Design and develop cloud-native web applications using AWS infrastructure. - Deploy and manage applications in Amazon **EKS**. - Build, containerize, and maintain services using **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. - Develop scalable backend services using: - **Node.js** - **Python** - **Django** - **Go** (nice to have) - Build and maintain modern front-end applications using **React**. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. - Follow best practices for **CI/CD**, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration. - Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews. ### Qualifications: - Active **Secret Clearance**. - Strong experience with AWS-native infrastructure. - Hands-on experience deploying applications to **EKS**. - Solid understanding of **Kubernetes**, **Docker**, or other scalable container technologies. - Backend development experience with **Node.js**, **Python**, and/or **Django**. - Front-end development experience with **React**. - Experience building and supporting scalable web applications.
