Senior Machine Learning Engineer, GenAI Security

For more information, visit [redditinc.com](http://www.redditinc.com). ### Role Overview The GenAI Security team within Reddit’s Security, Privacy, Assurance, and Corporate Engineering organization is focused on protecting Reddit’s GenAI usage across various platforms. We are building zero-trust, defense-in-depth systems to secure and protect Reddit’s AI traffic and GenAI adoption by default. ### Responsibilities - Develop and improve security-focused ML models for Reddit’s GenAI traffic, including guardrail models, semantic classifiers, and anomaly detection models. - Own the full machine learning lifecycle: problem definition, data ETL, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. - Utilize modern deep learning architectures such as neural networks, transformers, and sequence models. - Design rigorous evaluation suites for adversarial examples and real production traffic. - Enhance model precision, recall, latency, and operational reliability for high-impact production surfaces. - Build repeatable MLOps workflows, including training pipelines and model lineage. - Collaborate closely with various teams to integrate security models into production workflows. ### Qualifications - Proven experience in machine learning and model development. - Strong understanding of deep learning architectures and MLOps practices. - Ability to work pragmatically with evolving ML platforms and infrastructure.
