We provide a comprehensive app for home improvement, offering personalized guidance, AI tools, and a best-in-class hiring experience. ### About the Applied Science Team The Customer Growth Applied Science team is focused on delivering profitable growth by developing and deploying state-of-the-art AI models in growth marketing and demand partnerships. ### Challenge Our work involves vast amounts of user data, and we aim to deliver scalable experiences for a diverse user base through in-app features for onboarding, engagement, and reactivation. We are pioneering the use of generative AI models and agentic systems to empower marketers. ### What You'll Do - Initiate and drive applied science initiatives with a focus on business impact. - Build and deploy AI systems to production, including: - Customer Lifetime Value models - LLM-powered agentic systems for ad copy generation - Recommendation systems to enhance user engagement - Next best action models for personalized communications - Analyze diverse data types to drive model development. - Maintain a balance between execution speed and scientific rigor in solution design. - Own the reliability and performance of deployed models, including monitoring and iterative improvements. ### Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in applied AI/data science with a proven track record of deploying models to production. - Proficient in programming languages such as Python. - Familiarity with agentic software engineering tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. - Strong foundation in probability and statistics, including experimental design and predictive modeling. - Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners of varying technical levels.
